New ‘Silicon Valley North’ documentary shows how the tech industry has impacted Kelowna

Render Digital Media, a Kelowna-based tech company, recently came out with a new documentary called ‘Silicon Valley North’ that explores the impact that the tech scene has had on Kelowna through the origins and multi-million dollar sale of Club Penguin, interviews with the founders of Yeti Farm, Hyper Hippo, Accelerate Okanagan, the mayor of Kelowna Colin Basran, and much more.

This 30-minute documentary also discusses one of the newest additions to the downtown core, the Innovation Centre. A multi-storey building that offers space for larger tech companies and solopreneurs who are looking to make an impact on the tech industry in the Okanagan.
